The Democratic National Convention is underway, and from Kal Penn to the Foo Fighters to Mary J. Blige, it promises to be a star-studded affair.
One actor making waves at the con (can I call it a con?) is none other than the Dude himself, Jeff Bridges. Yesterday the Lebowski legend performed with his band -- cheekily dubbed The Abiders -- at Charlotte's CarolinaFest, and this morning he could be found on MSNBC teaching the hosts of Morning Joehow to make the perfect White Russian (no joke).
Below, watch CNN ask a shaggy-haired Bridges about his political leanings and involvement with the No Kid Hungry campaign. I'm not sure why reporter Suzanne Malveaux touches the actor so many times, but I suppose I'd be tempted to do the same.
"As the Dude says, 'Everybody's got their opinion, you know?" Bridges tells Malveaux. "That's my opinion -- Obama's the man."
